A collaborative network of both NJMTA members and nonmembers - entrepreneurs, teachers, and players – who gather to play, present, and discuss what we are working on and developing. We want support and to engage with music teachers and programs in our state and explore new ways to strengthen the field of independent music teaching as well as NJMTA membership.

Join us for this free pre-State Conference session as representatives from the Royal Conservatory of Music provide a general overview of RCM programs, including guiding resources for established studios and young professionals.

Not only will you receive a sneak peak of the inside of an exam room, but a RCM examiner, a center representative, and a recipient of the RCM Teacher of Distinction will share their experiences during the presentation.

Monthly Networking Meetings

What:

  • Meet every 2nd Friday of each month, @ 10am-12pm

  • Welcome all professional musicians and music teachers as well as collegiate level students

  • NJMTA Non-members are welcome to attend

  • A variety of activities including presentations, performances, discussions, and panels.

  • Topics will be explored in collaboration with the needs and interests of the APN group
