Advancing Professionals Network (APN) February Meeting

To celebrate our first anniversary of establishing the NJMTA-APN and to start our 2024 program, we cordially invite you to join us for the first meeting of 2024, which will coincide with the Lunar New Year and the Valentine Day.  APN committee plans to hold an afternoon gathering and a panel discussion for this first event. 

This event is also open to members’ family and friends to join us for a lovely afternoon teatime and taste famous Taiwanese Street Foods.

An annual event occurring in April, Spring Recitals are for the well-prepared students who are capable of accepting the challenge of auditioning and performing on stage. This event is open for both solo and ensemble categories, in which students are selected through the audition process to perform in the recitals.

Spring Piano Festival

A non-competitive event, Spring Piano Festival takes place in March every year, to provide musical growth through evaluation and encouragement. The teacher and parents are invited to attend the private session. This event is open for solo and piano duet category.

2022 Commissioned Composer Competition Deadline

This year’s Commissioned Composer: Carol Comune

Every year, the NJMTA commissions a living composer to create original compositions for piano students to learn and perform in a competition. A performance of these pieces by the winners, chosen by the composer, is held in November at the NJMTA Conference to promote interest in new music by living composers.
